About

Moses was born in Kalagala–Lyantonde District, situated at the cultural crossroads of the Ankole and Buganda kingdoms in central Uganda. His early education took him through Kasambya Primary School and later St. Gonzaga Secondary School. He went on to earn a Diploma in Electronic Engineering, showcasing his technical aptitude before his passion for nature drew him toward a new path.

In 2004, Moses made a career shift into tourism, enrolling in a series of tour guiding courses to gain the knowledge and qualifications needed to enter the industry. He began working on a freelance basis with various tour companies in Kampala, where he accumulated hands-on experience and refined his guiding skills.

Moses joined Wild Frontiers in 2012 and quickly became a valued member of the safari guide team. His calm presence, attention to detail, and deepening knowledge of Uganda’s wildlife and ecosystems have made him a trusted and sought-after guide.

Moses is particularly passionate about birding, and he brings a keen eye and quiet enthusiasm to every nature walk or game drive. Guests appreciate his gentle nature, professionalism, and the rich knowledge he shares about Uganda’s landscapes, history, and wildlife.

He is married with two children and, in his free time, enjoys watching and participating in sports, especially football, along with his favorite pastime—birdwatching.
